Very Important Notice for WordPress/Zotabox Facebook Live Chat Users

Dear WordPress/Zotabox Facebook Live Chat User,

WordPress informed us today of a vulnerability on our Facebook Live Chat plugin that can be exploited by others to add unexpected script to your website.

We have fixed the issue on our end and reported back to WordPress but the updated version of our plugin has not been released by WordPress yet.

Until a new version of our plugin is available we highly recommend you take the following action immediately to avoid unwanted script to be added to your website:

For Single WordPress Site Users:

We recommend you de-activate our current WordPress – Facebook Live Chat plugin on your site to avoid unexpected script load.

You may then install our general WordPress plugin to KEEP your current Zotabox settings on your website.

Multiple WordPress Sites on one Zotabox account:

For users with multiple wordpress accounts, please switch to each website FIRST on your Zotabox dashboard THEN de-activate our WordPress Facebook Live Chat plugin and install our general wordpress plugin.

Note: If your Zotabox settings are copied from one wordpress site to another please see this FAQ.

Manual WordPress Code Installation:

For wordpress users that installed our code manually, nothing needs to be done.

If you have any unexpected issues, please de-activate our current WordPress – Zotabox Facebook Live Chat plugin and notify us.
